Some sketches of Arthur Kirkland (England) and Alfred F. Jones (America) from Axis Powers Hetalia. The style has some artistic liberties, but that’s a given in fanart.

Alfred: “Smile for the camera, Artie!”
Arthur: “Yeah, right.”
The first picture is an example of what I see as typical interaction between these two; Alfred is overly excited over something Arthur can’t bring himself to as much as be interested in.

Here’s Alfred being a flirt and Arthur reacting accordingly. I’m personally not very happy with this image.

Arthur: “What’s wrong, Alfred? Your face looks funny.”
Alfred: “Your face is funny!”
This is actually based off of a fantasy AU fanfic idea I had with the two as humans raised in the same orphanage. Because what is a fantasy storyline without orphan main characters? The idea here is simple; Alfred has a kiddie crush on Arthur and doesn’t know how to deal.
